Play for the Angels

If you are interested in playing for one of our Angels Teams during the Summer of 2014 and did not make our January 2014 tryout, please contact Ryan McKinley at 602-791-6158 between the hours of 7:30pm and 9:30pm.

Summer 2014 Payments

Summer payments are due by March 31, 2014. There are 2 options for payment.

Option 1) One Payment via PayPal, Due by March 31, 2014 to receive a 15% discount off standard fee.
>> Click Here to Pay With a Single Payment

Option 2) Two Payments via Paypal, Due by March 31, 2014 to receive 10% discount off standard fee.
>> Click Here to Pay With 2 Payments Over 2 Months

Option 1 is our best deal. We incur more costs processing 2 payments than we do for one, thus the difference in discount.

IMPORTANT: Make sure you take advantage of the discount.  Players not paid by March 31, 2014 run the risk of being replaced on the roster with other players. Any players not paid by May 15, 2014 cannot participate until paid due to insurance regulations.

Fees include everything except select out of town tournaments, which will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Fees are all encompassing and include field rental, gear, insurance, league entry fees, tournament entry fees, and administrative fees.

Development, Exposure, and the Angel Way

John J. Gracio's Angels Scout Teams and Angels Amateur Baseball Program provides one of the most unique development and exposure opportunities in the country.

Started in 1983 as the Chicago Cubs High School Scout Team, "Grac" transitioned the club to the Angels when he came out of scouting retirement and signed on to scout for the LA Angels of Anaheim in 2004.

In keeping with Grac's tradition of "having fun and playing the game right", the Angels continue to set the bar for scout teams and academies. The 'Angel Way' provides instruction, feedback, and philosophies that graduate many of our former players on to college baseball and a few on to the professional ranks.
